ABOUT US

The Detroit Chapter of Safari Club International is one of the oldest chapters in Michigan. Our members come from throughout the entire Detroit Metro Region. We are ethical hunters-conservationists dedicated to promoting wildlife conservation, advocacy of hunting and hunter’s rights, educating the public, and actively involved in humanitarian projects.

Our chapter is proud to be part of an international organization that has been highly successful in its efforts to maintain and improve wildlife habitats and hunting opportunities in many countries worldwide. We are doing our part in building the future for the centuries-old heritage of hunting.

Safari Club International has a membership of nearly 50,000 active sportsmen and women in 37 Countries. The membership spends annually nearly $440 million on hunting-related activities, supporting conservation programs throughout the world while bolstering rural economies dependent on wildlife-associated recreation.
